I guess they made this mistake by following the serial numbers for a Gibson Les Paul Gibson used 5 or 6 digit ink stamped serial numbers on Les Paul guitars from 1952 until 1960. It's fitted with 2 powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups which are nicely balanced and are warm and round with classic vintage Gibson P-90 tone. The ES-125 TDC is a lightweight, lively sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. You can add any model of Gibson guitar, whether that’s a Les Paul, a Flying V, or a Hummingbird. If there isn’t a Made in U.S.A engraved on the headstock and it’s just the serial number then it’s most likely either 1963 or 1967. Aside from a question mark over the bridge this guitar is all original with untouched solder on the pots. I cant find confirmation one way or the other as to whether these bridges would have been fitted at the factory. It has a Factory fitted Bigsby vibrato and an aluminium Bigsby compensated bridge. Higher grade models (such as the Super 400, L-5, J-200, etc.) feature both a serial number and a FON. Cherry Sunburst finish, mahogany neck with a Rosewood fretboard and dot position inlays. number on Gibson’s lower grade models (like the ES-125, ES-140, J-160E, etc.) which do not feature a paper label.
